Laygate Luncheon Club

David Miliband MP has answered a call for help from the Trinity House luncheon club.

Offering hot meals to senior citizens, the club had been hit by a shortage of helpers to serve up dinners.

David Miliband MP said "When I saw Jan's appeal in the Gazette for volunteers to help serve up the lunches at Trinity House, I wanted to offer my services to help out."
