'David Miliband MP sees red!'

Deciding what to wear in the morning can be difficult at the best of times, especially if you are a busy doctor, harassed nurse, or hard working MP. But today David Miliband MP, Dr Nasser, Dr Bryson, and the rest of the staff from South Tyneside Hospital had a little extra help - from the British Heart Foundation.

To show their support for the British Heart Foundation, David Miliband MP and the doctors and nurses from the cardiology unit were taking part in 'Wear Red' day, to help raise funds for the British Heart Foundation as part of Heart Week 2003.

David Miliband MP said "I am always pleased to be able to lend my support to such a good cause, and was delighted to meet Dr Nasser and Bryson and their support teams, and to hear about the excellent wok they are doing here in South Tyneside".
