'Tea Time Triumph'

David Miliband MP for South Shields today visited the new café at Hill Head Farm, owned and run by Margaret Stewart.

Margaret, formerly owner of the Copper Kettle in South Shields Town Centre, has opened the new tea room in response to demands from her old customers at the Copper Kettle.

The café opened at Easter to great success, and has been innundated with customers keen to enjoy a delicious cake and a cuppa while taking in the fantastic sea views.

David Miliband said

" I am delighted that Margaret's new enterprise has been such a great success. I was disappointed with the closure of the Copper Kettle, but the new Hill Head tea room more than fills the gap. The tea and scones are of the same excellent standard that South Shields has come to expect of Margaret, and I wish her continued success in this new venture"
