David Miliband MP for South Shields today helped to launch an important new tool for young people in South Tyneside - the Make Your Own Job Website.

Developed by Tedco Enterprise in Education and Shell LiveWire, the site is a valuable resource to help young people recognise their strengths and weaknesses, to further develop strengths and work on weaker areas, so that they can achieve their own goals and ambitions.

Working with teachers, schools and careers advisers, Enterprise in Education offers young people to chance to develop valuable skills such as self-determination, self-reliance, confidence and self esteem, all of which are valuable both in the work place and while job hunting.

David Miliband said

"The Make Your Own Job' website and the Enterprie in Education project offer our young people a valuable resource to help them make the right choices and find their way in today's jobs market, which can often be confusing and intimidating.
